Theory in Fitness and Pilates in EVERYTHING! If your theory isn't sound, the exercises are , just that, exercises. They are no longer movement with purpose. This Theory course is used in conjunction with the Essential Warm-up Stretches (Separate on-line course) to set the foundation for all MOVEMENT, whether on the floor or using equipment, or other forms of exercise such as yoga or gym workouts.
Theory of any movement course requires the fundamentals to be able to understand what the course is all about:
- The structure of the exercise,
- The way an exercise can be adapted to certain individuals,
- The bio-mechanics of the movements.
- The implementation of the exercise,
- The analysis of the movement.
- The requirements to obtain RESULTS for that individual and
- The Progression from one level to the next, NOT from one exercise to the next.
This Menezes Fitness and Pilates Theory Course is structured in such a way as to be easily understood for application to any exercise at any level.
STUDY - PRACTISE - ADAPT - IMPLEMENT - ANALYSE - FEEDBACK - PROGRESSION = RESULTS
Ultimately that is what it is all about - RESULTS for yourself and your clients.
